You’ve decided to make a day trip to New York to try and fit as much in as possible. You think, “Hey, I’ll just buy a Metro Card day pass and take the subway everywhere. At night I’ll get a cab!” Well, that’s good thinking if you’ve got a week to spend in the city, but if you’re looking to try and fit an entire action-packed day of fun in the Big Apple into a short period of time, waiting for the subway or battling taxis to pick you up just isn’t going to cut it.

If there’s one thing certain about New York City, it’s that it justly earns its nickname as the “city that never sleeps” and you’ll want to be a part of all the action. There are a million things to do, restaurants to enjoy, shows to see, and people to watch. It’s time to get serious about your transportation in New York by thinking about booking an NYC limousine or car service.

You’ll start your day by having your limousine or car service pick you up at your home outside the city or your hotel in the city. Either way, you can rest assured it will be there on-time and ready to go. When you’re booking your New York limousine or car service, be sure to make notes about whether you want the car warmer or colder, what kind of music you prefer to listen to, or if you want music at all. Your Chauffeur will probably have bottled water for you to keep you hydrated during your fun-filled day in the city, so take advantage of that. If you have any other special requests, he or she can handle those as well.

Your driver will know all the best brunch spots in the city to start your day off right. Since you have a driver, go head and have a mimosa or bloody mary while you’re enjoying your meal at one of the amazing restaurants the city has to offer. Your driver will drop you off right at the door and see that you get in safely. Then, when you’re finished with your crepes and omelets, simply let your driver know and they will meet you right back where you were picked up.

What’s better than a drive through Times Square in your private, chauffeured limousine? Roll down your window and get a great view of all of the buildings. Your driver will stop and make sure you get to take all the photos you want and you’ll have a great time posing next to your limousine with the flashing lights in the air behind you.

When you’re ready to head off to the Metropolitan Museum of Modern Art, your driver will take you right to the door. Enjoy the paintings, sculptures, and modern art exhibits, and soak in all the history that’s on display. There’s more than enough to fill an entire day, but don’t linger too long, because there’s still plenty of city to see.

Once you’ve finished at MoMA, take a drive through Central Park and see all the beauty of the city’s largest grassy area. From there, head from the Upper East or West Side, all the way down to lower Manhattan where you can grab a bite to eat in the Financial District, view the September 11 memorial site, and catch the Staten Island Ferry over for some shopping. Again, your day isn’t finished, so keep up the pace.

After your fun-filled day, it’s time to start thinking about dinner. When you first get into your limousine or chauffeured car, be sure to tell the driver that you want to go to the best place in town for dinner. They can even help you by making the reservation for you. All you have to do is sit back and relax on your way from Lower Manhattan to your dinner in SoHo or Hell’s Kitchen. Consider going to Butter for a truly delicious dining experience.

After dinner, take in a Broadway show. There’s more than enough options for even the pickiest of viewers. From musicals to plays to reviews, you can’t go wrong with a performance by professional actors on the Great White Way. Treat yourself after the show by heading over to Serendipity for a cup of cold hot chocolate. No, that’s not a typo— you read it right, and it’s a truly delicious treat for anyone.

Your day in New York City is coming to a close and it’s been a great one. Be sure to book your New York limousine or car service to experience the city the way it was meant to be experienced: in style.
