A GREAT NIGHT OUT AT THE BARCLAYS CENTER

CAR SERVICE AND A GREAT MEAL NEAR THE BARCLAYS CENTER

Experiencing the great city of New York can be both exciting and nerve-wracking. From finding a great hotel in a great location to filling your itinerary with some of your favorite spots in the city, your trip to New York can require a balancing act of epic proportions.

One of our favorite destinations near the city is the legendary Barclays Center in Brooklyn, which brings the very best in sports, concerts and night-out experiences to the residents and visitors of this great city. Why not plan for a night at the Barclays Center during your trip to New York? After all, you have plenty of options throughout the summer for a great concert experience, and there are plenty of restaurants near the stadium to help you re-fuel when the show comes to an end.

To help you plan your Barclays Center night out, we’ve outlined a few key pieces of advice below.

GETTING THERE SAFELY (AND EASILY)

One concern that many people have when planning their trips to the Big Apple is how exactly they will get around. Some of them decide to rent cars and try their hand at the often disastrous task of navigating and parking in a huge, congested, and unfamiliar city. Others opt to take cabs each time they need to get somewhere, quickly discovering that hailing a cab at a moment’s notice is rarely a guarantee, especially if you’re trying to go somewhere during rush hour.

The benefits of booking New York car service are really too many to name. You’ll get a local expert chauffeur who is committed to providing the kind of customer service experience that your vacation demands and you deserve. You’ll also get to by-pass every bit of the frustrating city traffic and nearly impossible parking situation. Once you try car service, you aren’t likely to go back.

CHOOSING YOUR NIGHT

The Barclays Center schedule is impressive this summer.

On Tuesday and Wednesday, September 23 and 24, you can see the Black Keys and Cage the Elephant perform at the Center, bringing along with them a fabulous live show and the music that you’ve been passionate about for years now. The doors open at 8 pm.

Similarly, on August 22, 23 and 24, Arcade Fire will set up residence in the Center as part of their Reflektor tour, to bring their fans some of their Grammy-winning songs and creatively ground-breaking work. Doors open at 7:30 on August 22 and 7:45 on both the 23rd and the 24th.

If pop-country is more your style of music, the Barclays will be your kind of party on September 14, as country superstars Luke Bryan and Lee Brice will delight their fans with the catchy, fun, lighthearted charm of pop-country hits.

WHERE TO EAT

The Convivium Osteria on 5th Avenue in Brooklyn is always a solid choice for dinner destination, no matter whose musical stylings you’ve enjoyed at the Barclays. Traditional Italian dishes meet elegance, ambiance and comfort in this restaurant; dishes that brim with exceptional ingredients and expert preparation will delight you and your guests during your time here, making it the perfect way to round out a lively night at the Barclays.

If something low-key and casual, with great drinks and great service is more your after-show tastes, Alchemy in Brooklyn is the perfect spot. Considered by many to serve the “best comfort food in Brooklyn,” you and yours can unwind with favorites like mashed potatoes, warm meats and delicious beers after taking in a remarkable show at the Barclays.

Your trip to New York City has the potential to be everything you want it to be; with destinations like the Barclays Center and the convenience of car service, you are well on your way to achieving the Big Apple trip of your dreams.
